The district of Bulandshahr is in Meerut region of Uttar Pradesh located between Ganga and Yamuna rivers. Bulandshahr is an industrially developing district. Khurja town is a city of potteries, where there are more than five hundred potteries. Potteries of Khurja have earned a reputation at national & international markets. The Indian ceramic industry can be broadly divided into two major groups, whiteware pottery and red clay pottery (including terracotta). Khurja produce predominantly whiteware items, although have few terracotta units.
Sikandrabad industrial area is another such region where several big industries such Kajaria Tiles, Orient Ceramics, JP Gold Paints, Jenson & Nicholson, Rajdoot Paints, P.A.M Pharmaceuticals, etc. companies are located here.
In Bulandshahr there is Panni Nagar Mill, Cooperative Sugar Mill Jahangirabad, Agauta Sugar & Chemicals factory are established. There is a distillery in Jahangirabad Sugar Mill.
In the village Chola is located the Bibcol factory for manufacturing polio vaccines with Russian collaboration. Besides local handicrafts and other artistic things are made here, printing on cotton cloths is another important activity done by local artisans.
